Middle Age Group Scout Training Weekend
10th -11th February 2006
The Middle Age Group Scouts attended a Training Course. Activities included Playing Games, even one using Mouse Traps; a Night Hike after Scouts; Sleeping; Morning Run around large frost covered area of Pinkneys Green; Cooking Breakfast; being taught Basic skills including: Mapping; Physical Fitness; Compass Course; Food for camp, plus Personal Hygiene & Camp Hygiene; Patrol equipment for camp & Packing a Rucksack for expeditions; Knife, Axe & saw Safety rules; Advance First Aid; Cleaning Trophies; Fire Lighting; Basic Cooking on Wood Fires; plus playing games including cricket in the sun on the Green & stinger
