40 members of the Troop have just returned from their annual camp at Symonds Yat Rock, just south of the River Wye

The activities that have taken part in included:-


  • Rock Climbing
  • Caving
  • Canoeing
  • Zip Wire
  • Assult Course
  • Abseiling
  • Hiking
  • Raft Building
  • Visit to a local place of interest "Big Pit" Old NCB Coal Mine
  • Plus Normal Scouting Fun

We had a lot of problems due to Foot and Mouth this year. The estrictions were lifted just before we arrived to be re instated on Saturday 21st July and lifted again on Wednesday 25th July. We were able to do most of the acticities we had plannedm but we had to cancel the overnight hike.
